In this talk, Mr. Khurshid talks about how decision-making feels like in the courtroom before two people are fighting for their rights. He also tells us about questions to which there still are no answers – for which, where the line must be drawn is still not known to us. At this point in his talk he also raised two crucial different perspectives of Herbert and Hercules and linked them to popular and institutional opinion. A former member of the Cabinet, Mr. Salman Khurshid has held office as the Minister of External Affairs and Minister of Law and Justice. He is an accomplished lawyer, an avid reader and has been a lecturer at The University of Oxford. His book, Beyond Terrorism: New Hope for Kashmir is renowned in the particular genre and has received rave reviews by critics. He believes in the value of a choice and how it affects your course of action. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
